Lace Cardstock

Did you see the first pack of Lace Cardstock? It was the first time I made something on a request, and it was so much fun! Well, now I've just wrapped up the second pack - inspired by a paper layout Dagmar showed us. She actually did all the cutting herself with a scissor! Thank God I'm digi, not paper LOL!

Here's the preview for you:

They turn out a bit tiny here on the blog don't they? Maybe you get a better view on this layout where I used one of them:

Don't you just love how it looks like a lace window? :) This layout turned out to be quite special for me. The photo is taken from my grandparents' house. They've got these beautiful sunsets there. My grandmother died a few years ago, and seeing her house makes me remember her - that's what the journaling is about. And then I have used buttons from her old button collection to embellish the layout. So there's a lot of memories and emotion in this on my part. She was an artist, a painter, and I am sure these dreamy colors and lights in the sky inspired her.

You can click on the image for full credits.

What I really like about these Lace Cardstocks is that they are so versatile and have so many possibilities. I was originally thinking of placing my photo on top of this one here, but realized that it worked really well under too! You can blend them or recolor or cover in other papers, make them tiny or use as frames. I'm sure there are more options I haven't even thought of :)

Wow!

There have been SO many awsome pages made with my kits the last week, and I really want to show you some by all these fab scrappers!!

Seriously, that's one of the bes things about designing - to see all the beautiful creative work that's being done with my simple elements and backgrounds!

Now I just picked the last few I put in my favs. I love every single layout I've seen so far!

With Fish in the Sea

By Amy Pearson:

Isn't this creative? I simply LOVE how she used the photo and look at all that layering around the edges with those cute little fish peaking through everywhere! :)

By Viwi:

I love how she used the sequins from the other kit as bubbles, and just look at how easily she acheived a stunning layout with the layered stack included in the kit!

With My Lady

By newlife:

Now, that is so dreamy and I love the old photo and the vintage feel! And just look at that creative titlework! She did a wonderful job using the bordered paper cut!

By Holly Griego:

WOW! Holly's fabulous layering and shadows blow me away!! Awsome titlework and photo too! :)You both liked the green background I see ;)

And look! This girl made a hybrid project with the fish kit! That is so cool!!

Thanks for using my kits girls!!

All images are clickable, so I hope you'll leave them some love :)

Whohooo! I'm at Catscrap!

So, now everybody knows what my secret was :) I was going to sell my designs at the one and only CATSCRAP store!!

MAN, that was hard to keep to myself for almost TWO MONTHS!! But now I'm twice as happy about it HA! :)

You should stop by and snag something while you can, cause everything in the store is on sale 25% off until the 6th!! Great opportunity! Catscrap doesn't do sales too often! And there's a freebie from me up too!

Here's a layout I did with my new kit My Lady:

A Princess in her Castle:

Oh, and wait a minute! Take a look at this super cool blinkie Carolyn made for me:
